Stockholm hosts ETRE 2008
Stockholm, Sweden will host ETRE 2008, European Technology Round Table Exhibition. The conference takes place October 14-17 2008 and is arranged by Red Herring. Its the main European event where executives from venture capital and finance industry meet established as well as start-ups from the hi-tech industry.
Successful Swedish Session at BIO 2008,
San Diego
The seminar Swedish Session during BIO 2008 in San Diego June 17th was a success with over a hundred participants. It was the first time The Swedish Industry Organisation, SwedenBIO and Swedish Trade Council arranged it as a part of the official programme.

Stockholm is on top in the annual EC regional economic status report. Stockholm is highly ranked both regarding GDP per head in purchasing power standard, as well as share of knowledge workers in total regional employment.
